Well.... it is nearly the end of 2024, and we have achieved so much in the last year....

šŸ’š we now have our amazing group of guardians, checking and maintaining our public access defibrillators to ensure they always remain emergency ready!

We have an amazing bunch šŸ˜€

ā¤ļø the one and only, Ian Hooper, became our ambassador

šŸ’œwe have helped supply another 9 public access defibrillators this year...

* redbricks care home in little bispham

* Direct salon furniture in bispham

* teetime golf in Norbreck

* Waterloo pub in blackpool

* one near kirkham allotments

* our big 50! At wyre Fitness in Hambleton

* lilliput nursery in South Shore

* mad air outdoor air rifle Range in Pilling

* high bank farm at hardhorn Village

As well as helping get private owned ones such as the one at a St Anne's swimming pool.

🩵 we have sponsored the U7s vipers training kit and gave them a portable defibrillator for their matches,training,tournaments, etc

🧔 Helen did a sponsored climb up the 'big one' at Blackpool pleasure Beach, and Andy Linger did a sponsored sky dive with his daughter, both raising amazing amounts towards the defibrillator fund.

šŸ’œ we launched our portable defibrillator to hire (for free!!!) WESTY29 for adventurers, walkers, cyclists, campers, climbers, and those who go to remote areas to help in a cardiac arrest to give the casualty the best chance of survival.

This is in memory of Laura West šŸ’–

šŸ’š we were also nominated for the EVA awards

🩵 we have held numerous community awareness sessions to teach CPR and how to use a defibrillator, giving hands-on experience to help build confidence to use these life-saving skills when needed.

šŸ’š we have also held numerous fundraising events to raise needed funds and also raise awareness of the importance of these life-saving units, with help from the defib guys 'defibril8'

šŸ˜ we celebrated our 3 year anniversary of Wyre and Fylde community defibrillators fund, and we will hopefully look forward to many more.

šŸ˜ thank you for all your support, donations, sharing of information and events, and kindness. We really appreciate your support for our mission to help save lives šŸ™

All the best for Christmas and 2025 šŸ˜€
